The Matheson opened in 2021 on Healdsburg Plaza, in the building where Dustin Valette's great-grandfather ran his bakery. Roof 106 opened above it the same year. We are marking five years with a week of anniversary offerings across the property, running all day Monday, August 31 through Thursday, September 3.

The Founder's Menu is Brian Best and Dustin Valette going back through the dishes that have defined the first five years. Heirloom tomato and watermelon with sheep's milk feta, or golden gazpacho with Maine lobster and sweet corn. Then local wild halibut, Akaushi wagyu steak frites with Perigord truffle, or roasted Petaluma chicken with mushroom fondue. Brian's cheesecake to finish. It is served in the ground floor dining room, and everything this week is dine-in only.
The week ends where the building does. Friday, September 4, Roof 106 stays open late with a DJ and cocktails in the open air over the Plaza, 9 p.m. to midnight.
