The Matheson 5-Year Anniversary
The Matheson and Roof 106 turn five, and the whole building celebrates. Monday through Thursday, $5 Modern Margaritas at both restaurants, $15 pizzas on Roof 106, half off all 88 taps on the Wine Wall, and a $50 three-course Founder's Menu built by Brian Best and Dustin Valette for the occasion. Friday night it ends on the roof with a DJ until midnight.
Sneak Peek of Pocket Peak
Valette Wines pours at Skipstone for a grand tasting of the proposed Pocket Peak AVA, a small run of hillside vineyards in northeastern Alexander Valley that has petitioned for federal recognition. Skipstone, Aperture, Robert Young Winery and Valette Wines are all in the room, with the people who make the wine there to pour it. Tickets are $150, and all proceeds go to the Northern Sonoma County Fire Department.
